We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and certified for Medicare and Medicaid. Established in 1956 as Cape End Manor, Seashore Point Wellness and Rehab has a long history of providing first class service. The primary focus of our dedicated team of professionals is the personal care of our residents and patients in an environment that offers quality of life. Under the guidance of our Medical Director, the interdisciplinary care team – which includes nurses, therapists, and social workers – confers regularly to ensure that each patient receives the very best service programs. A broad range of consultant physicians are available to assist the Seashore Point team. Seashore Point Wellness and Rehab is designed to care for the short-term rehabilitation patient as well as the long-term care resident. We have a spacious, fully-equipped rehabilitation gym, staffed seven days a week for patients requiring Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy. Our therapists have experience working with a wide range of injuries and illnesses including Vascular, Cardiac, Pulmonary and Orthopedic conditions. We are particularly proud of our skilled therapists who use an individualized and interdisciplinary approach to address each patient’s needs. They offer a combination of traditional therapy and high-tech modalities which include electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and short-wave diathermy. They have received extensive training in the use of these modalities for specialized treatment of neurological impairments, joint replacements, pain management, wound care, and strengthening.
