Hearing Seminar Saturday, May 16, 1 pm This three-hour seminar for the deaf and hard of hearing, their families and friends features Jonathan O’Dell of the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing discussing assistive devices for individuals and assistive products for the built environment. Also features Chris Plant of the Massachusetts Equipment Distribution Program discussing home telephone products for people with a permanent disability. MassEDP can provide specialized phones for free or at a reduced cost, depending on income levels. Plant explains the eligibility and verification process, and offers assistance with the application process for interested individuals. The seminar is free and open to the public. The Boston Post Cane Awarded to Seashore Point Resident On Wednesday, Adele Anderson received the Boston Post Cane from Selectman Cheryl Andrews. The Cane is awarded to the longest living citizen of Provincetown. Adele has lived at Seashore Point for seven years, and besides her family, a large and happy crowd turned out for the award ceremony.
